After receiving his B.S. in biochemistry at Wheaton College in Illinois, Dr. Steven Waltrip pursued medicine at Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School.
Once receiving his M.D., he completed an internship at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver, CO as well as residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Waltrip is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in physiatry with an emphasis in pain management.
In 1999, he returned to Southern California, where he had grown up, along with his wife and children. After working with Dr. Brad Penenberg and Dr. Theodore Goldstein in their Beverly Hills orthopedic group, Dr. Waltrip moved to his current office where he has been practicing since 2005.
Being a sole practitioner allows Dr. Waltrip the freedom to spend time with his patients. He is dedicated to returning his patients to their highest level of function after an injury or surgery. Dr. Waltrip combines a compassionate spirit with an abundance of knowledge and experience to provide the best care possible.
Susan is a native of southern California and has lived in Beverly Hills for over 17 years. She has been working in the medical field for over 8 years and has a great sensitivity for patients needs plus a very empathetic ear which make patients feel comfortable especially if they are in pain. Susan is a proud Mom of a daughter that is a hairstylist in Beverly Hills and she is her pride and joy. She usually can be found on weekends spending time with her Mom, daughter and her little dog Roscoe.
Becky recently began assisting Dr. Waltrip and she enjoys learning from him as well as working with patients. She is passionate about her studies in biology and anatomy, and is currently focused on receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Biology. Becky has always been interested in the medical field and hopes to apply the first hand experience gained from working with Dr. Waltrip to her own future career in medicine. Outside of the office, Becky channels her creativity through baking, crafting, and enjoying art.
